Please call us to discuss the type of job for which you wish to obtain a bond, and to discuss your financial strength. This will aid us in determining which company has a bond best suited to you needs. We have two companies that offer small contract bonds. They both charge a 3% rate for the first $100,000.00. The rate for a bond above $100, 000.00 will be determined after the bond is underwritten. This is a short application and it will be approved according to the strength of your credit and assets. These bonds are designed for one-time use. The surety may do two bonds if the circumstances warrant it. If you are doing more than the one bond you need to set up a bonding line, and we can assist you with this.
The three programs described below are designed for the infrequent contract bond user or a contractor just starting bonded work. The bond may be used one or two times for this type of user. If there is a possibility of additional contracts that will require bonding, it is necessary to set up a full bonding line with the Surety Carrier. Note that the under $50,000 bond is only for that size of bond. The QuicknEZ application is for bonds under $100,000.00 and that includes the bond for under $50,000. We should talk to you prior to your filling out any forms for these bonds.
If the owner or entity that is requiring the bond (Obligee), has the bond form in their contract documents or specifications, we will need that bond form. If they have not included the form, please let us know if a standard bond form can be used for the project. Please call us with any questions. We will be happy to help.
Please note this program is based mostly on your good credit and assets. If you have bad or marginal credit we need to talk to you prior to your filling out any forms.

- Copy of bond form from Obligee
- Properly signed General Indemnity Agreement by all principals and spouses
2. HCC QuicknEZ for under $100,000.00
QuicknEZ Application requires the following documents and information:
- Copy of your contract
- Fully completed application
- Copy of the bond form from Obligee
- Signed and notarized General Indemnity Agreement by all principals and spouses. The General Indemnity Agreement is part of the application.
3. CBIC under $200,000.00
